Who am I?

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ekaterina, or just Katie for short. I was born in January 1994 in a city called Omsk, a place far, far away in a country called Russia. In this place, winters are cold and terrible and summers are dry and hot, and poplar fluff floats in the air in spring and red leaves fall from trees in autumn. Omsk is a city of about 1,5 million people and this is where I spent most of the year, but for several months in summer I would spend my time in a village 3 hours outside of the city. This village was known as Serebryano (or "Silvery" if you wish to translate) and it was a place out of fairytale books. Rivers flowed freely, the only technology around were tvs and old phones, horses roamed the streets, people lived in antique houses and the friendships were so real and vibrant. I grew up in this amazing country and when I was 11, I moved to Australia. Australia is another beautiful country, a place of hot summers, giant spiders, poisonous snakes and beautiful beaches. Here, I met some of my best friends, and found the love of my life. These days, I'm trying to finish writing my Honours thesis for university, play video games, do jiu-jitsu and weights training, and edit videos. I have always been a creative person and filming and editing allowed me to unleash my creativity. Initially, I started out with drawing. Been drawing my entire life, no exaggeration there. Then I started painting. And then writing stories and poems. And now I film and edit footage. I love creating something out of nothing, capturing the perfect moments and turning them into memories you can watch time and time again. I love inspiring others and I hope that the videos you will see on here will be inspirational. Some of the videos are mine, of my own story, while others are the stories of my clients.
